Our family story
From a neighborhood Texaco to a trusted hometown repair shop.
Abernethy Tire and Auto traces its roots to 1968, when J.E. Abernethy cofounded B&J Texaco. What started as a neighborhood service station grew into Abernethy Texaco and, eventually, Abernethy Tire and Auto.
Today, Jason and Kristi Abernethy carry the business forward together alongside their family and team, with Kyle Abernethy representing the third generation. Kristi is a vital part of the business and its continued commitment to customers and the community. The name has changed, but the purpose has not: help people, do honest work, and take care of the community.
